I am that dinosaur that never gave up collecting CDs. I love them. I tried the record player thing again based on my experiences from when I was a kid, but I have decided I still prefer CDs and will only get a record if I can’t get it on CD.
You are 100% correct in saying, if you really love it, you better get it in physical form instead of being left to the whims of the tech broligarchy.
I still had cd’s. But I’ve been more actively replacing ones that got lost or I simply never had. The hardest part has been getting DVD’s for tv shows. Some of the animated shows we like just…never made them. Or they did for a few seasons and stopped. Which may be worse somehow? Either way, I’m glad I’m not the only one! Dinos forever! Rawr!
