Pardon the Interruption
Management apologizes for missing our regularly scheduled Randomly Drawn this week but…started organizing stuff in the studio yesterday and ran out of time.
However I doodled this really cool t-rex on Monday night while I was watching my wrasslin’ stories. I’ve been inspired by the Kickstarter that is doing a deluxe edition reprint of Stephen R. Bissette’s brilliant dino tale Tyrant! I have the comics but there’s so many goodies being added and now I’m gonna have a signed copy! Bissette is a brilliant horror illustrator as well as paleo artist. People probably know him best from his run on Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing series. Go see what the Kickstarter is all about HERE!
Anyways, it made me want to doodle a dinosaur. Rawr!
I just grabbed some scrap paper to do this with and it turned out to be just a proper size (with a bit of trimming) for some art bags I have. (I drew this one a little too close to the edges, but I’ve got them properly measured out now.) So hopefully this will be an ongoing series and these will be a less expensive option on the website! I very much enjoyed doing it!
