Sketch Sunday
April 19, 2026
Here we go. I ended one sketchbook and started another. Let’s get started!
First up, I always look ahead at The Prehistoric Times magazine future submissions. Sometime in the next year they are wanting “prehistoric cervids”. (Basically, big extinct deers.) I was kind of excited about this. I saw the megaloceros skeleton at the American Museum in New York and it is such an impressive animal. So I found one ALMOST as big and just some WACKY headgear. I introduce…the Eucladoceros!
I drew this little “holy” messaged doodle of Keggsy BEFORE the Pope Fiction nonsense. Sadly, it holds up.
This week I had a little monster thing going. First is the best of the comic monsters. Alec Holland. Old Swampy. I love warming up with his little face.
Then this little…Munion(?) knockoff. (Not even a Minion knockoff. A knockoff of a knockoff.)
Finally, this Mothman guy came out. Don’t know why or where-from…but here he is.
I hope you’ve all had a peaceful weekend. Hold the line and fight back where you can. We’ll beat the bastards yet.

Like the mothman!
