Sketch Sunday: The Easter-ing

Okay, not really. It’s just a regular sketch Sunday. I DID do an Easter sketch but it’s only because of the way this year is going and I thought we might get that rabbit out of the hat from the Twilight Zone movie. You know the one that creepy kid conjures out of nowhere because he has all this incredible and unearned power and can do whatever his petulant little unformed brain wants him to do an…oh. Oh no.

Were ALL of the episodes trying to warn us about stuff?!?

Next, I met a friend for coffee. I got there a little early so I sipped my coffee and sketched this guy who was talking to a friend (she was hidden by a plant). Those aren’t flies. Another page bled through. Oops.

People watching is fun.

I’ve been working on prep to do some convention shows. I talked to a friend who helped me sort out what I should be doing to get ready and I started doing some more little pieces to sell. I have the dinosaurs, but I noticed a Monster-palooza show and thought it might be fun to do some little hand drawn monsters. I jotted down some ideas.

Jack Davis was right. He shor’ IS fun to draw.

Maybe London? Maybe not.

Oh, and of course I was irritable during the week. But also amused. Silly magas making videos about how “tHey rEaDy tO go ta WaR fOr da pRezzy-DeNt”. My favorite was this guy with an axe. Which is cool. Cause I think they might be running out of money for bullets. (HAHA! Kidding. They’ll ALWAYS have money for that.)

The recruitment offices are open all the time, dude. Enjoy deployment!

This idea hit me and made me giggle. (Note: these a-holes are still running around. Watch out for yourselves.)

Unfair to actual rats, I know.

I hope you had a good weekend. Be safe this week. I get the feeling that something awful and huge is coming in the next couple of weeks. Maybe I'm wrong. I HOPE I’m wrong. But…maybe I’m right. Just be careful.
